Ennis Arts Festival 21st - 23rd September

The Festival Launch kicks off with an unveiling of Shona McGillvary’s beautiful Swallows suspended high above the laneway, and a chance to hear her talk a bit about their creation in collaboration with the Clare Youth Centre. There will also be Music and entertainment so please come along, get involved, get a programme, and have some fun. 


Ennis Trad Festival 8th - 13th November

“A festival for musicians, run by musicians” is the ethos at the heart of Ennis Trad Fest, according to its organising committee.
This year Ennis Trad Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary. A packed itinerary of traditional arts events is planned by the organisers, combining a mix of formal concerts, a free ‘Session Trail’ throughout the town, instrument master classes, a Céili, CD launches, Sean Nós and Set Dancing classes, a Trad Disco, the Trad 4 Teens programme, plus a Traditional Music table quiz.
The Session Trail is a mainstay of the festival, taking place in the bars and restaurants of Ennis, with eighty plus sessions of the highest quality traditional music, featuring two hundred and fifty musicians, and all are free to attend.


Glór Theatre

Glór Theatre is situated in the heart of Ennis and just a short walk from the Queens Hotel. It offers different events, plays and music concerts to suit the needs of all interests and ages midweek and throughout the weekend.
